FSIS is concerned that some consumers may still have the recalled product in their freezers. It is strongly advised that consumers who have purchased these products do not consume them. The products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
In order to ensure that the recall is effective, FSIS conducts regular checks to confirm that the recalling firms have notified their customers about the recall and have taken necessary steps to remove the product from the market.
