A lawsuit filed in New York on Thursday reveals that a second woman has accused Steven Tyler of sexually assaulting her during her teenage years. The woman, Jeanne Bellino, a former child model, alleges that the incident occurred in New York in the summer of 1975 when she was 17 and Tyler was around 27. The lawsuit claims gender-motivated violence and seeks unspecified damages.
According to Bellino, she met Tyler at the Warwick Hotel after a fashion show she was working at. As they walked down Sixth Avenue together, Bellino asked Tyler a question about a song lyric, which angered Tyler and led to him forcefully pushing her into a phone booth.
The lawsuit alleges that Tyler then subjected Bellino to a violent assault inside the phone booth. He allegedly groped and molested her, while others in his entourage stood by and laughed. Bellino managed to free herself and escape from the booth in shock and fear.
The suit further claims that Tyler pursued Bellino when they returned to the Warwick Hotel. Near the bar area, he forcibly kissed her and rubbed against her. Bellino resisted and Tyler whispered in her ear that he would go to his room and call her to join him later. However, Bellino managed to leave the hotel, feeling shaken and terrified.
Bellino’s lawsuit states that she has experienced significant emotional distress, physical injuries, and long-term trauma as a result of the alleged assault.
This lawsuit comes almost a year after another woman,
