Despite her ongoing confusion about Carl’s decision, Lindsay speculates that “people got in his ear” regarding their relationship, remarking, “It’s unusual to call off a wedding simply because of a few arguments.”
Fortunately, Lindsay found comfort in the support of her fellow cast members, particularly her longtime best friend, Danielle Olivera, during this difficult time.
“Throughout this entire ordeal, Danielle has been absolutely amazing,” Lindsay said about their friendship. “I had a wonderful experience reconnecting with different girls in the house, and they stood by me all summer. Whenever something happened with Carl, they were there to support me and offer guidance. It became a story about sisterhood.”
Lindsay’s recent revelations come just one week after her costar, Kyle Cooke, shed light on Carl’s perspective leading up to the breakup.
“It’s no secret that they’ve been attending couples therapy since the early stages of their relationship,” Kyle exclusively shared with E! News on October 25th. “From my point of view, there were times when it seemed like the only time they could effectively communicate was during therapy sessions.”
“It was almost as if they couldn’t communicate without a therapist present,” added the founder of Loverboy. “And Carl ultimately decided that he didn’t want to spend the next 50 years of his life in that manner.”
