Lance Bass, the former member of *NSYNC, has expressed his hope that fans will forgive Justin Timberlake amidst the recent backlash he has faced. Bass, aged 44, shared his thoughts in response to Britney Spears’ revelations about her past relationship with Timberlake in her memoir, The Woman in Me. In a video released by TMZ, Bass stated, “I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness.” He also encouraged fans to take a cue from Spears, who had displayed forgiveness herself. The singer further mentioned that he had already purchased Spears’ memoir and intended to read it during his flight.
Bass, who appeared to be at an airport, emphasized that everyone deserves to tell their story, just as Spears did. He expressed his hope that fans could find it in themselves to forgive. Timberlake had turned off Instagram comments after Spears made several bombshell revelations about their relationship, including allegations of infidelity and an abortion. In her book, she revealed that Timberlake opposed having a child at the time. Although Timberlake has not commented on Spears’ revelations, he has previously expressed regret for his past actions and showed support for her during her conservatorship battle.
