Unforgettable Collaboration: Lady Gaga Joins U2 in Las Vegas for ‘Shallow’ and More Epic Duets!

U2 discovered their perfect duet partner during a spectacular performance at Sphere in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. Lady Gaga joined the band on stage to sing her hit song “Shallow” and two of U2’s classics, “All I Want Is You” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

Bono introduced Lady Gaga as “the most audacious, vivacious woman in any room she’s ever in” and referred to her as the “divinyl.” He exclaimed, “You are the vestal virgin of Las Vegas!” It was a night filled with praise and exhilaration.

The seamless performance began with a joint rendition of U2’s “All I Want Is You,” seamlessly transitioning into Bono singing parts of “Shallow” while pointing at Lady Gaga to ensure she stayed on stage. It was a captivating moment that left the audience in awe.

Lady Gaga was back in Nevada, her former stomping grounds, after recently completing her “Jazz & Piano” show at Dolby Live in Park MGM. But she didn’t stay in one place for long. Soon after her Vegas appearance, she surprised fans by joining the Rolling Stones on stage in the other side of the country, performing “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” from the band’s new album.

This isn’t the first time Lady Gaga has collaborated with U2. In 2015, she joined them on stage at Madison Square Garden to perform “Ordinary Love.” As for U2’s Vegas residency, this marks their first guest appearance, but there may be more surprises in store as they recently announced an extension of their shows in January and February of 2024.
