Exciting Opportunity: British Council Grants P700K to Support Collaboration between Philippines-UK Artists and Organizations

The British Council is excited to announce the launch of the Connections Through Culture (CTC) Grants. This grant opens up incredible opportunities for artists and cultural institutions to engage in research, development, and partnerships between the United Kingdom and the international community.

Applications are being accepted until Oct. 23 for cultural organizations in the Philippines and across the Asean region. With up to £10,000 (P700,000) available, this grant aims to support projects that foster collaboration between the UK and the Philippines, encouraging new connections and partnerships across various art forms. At the core of CTC’s mission is addressing global challenges through the arts, with a particular emphasis on projects that tackle climate change, diversity, and inclusion.

CTC welcomes applications for collaborations between the UK and several countries, including Australia, Japan, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, and New Zealand. Organizations at any stage of development are invited to apply. Each application must include at least one UK applicant and one applicant from the Philippines. The project proposal timeline should end no later than Oct. 31, 2024.
