Authorities in Los Angeles County are currently investigating a series of vandalism and hate crimes. Unknown suspects have been spray painting swastikas on vehicles, prompting an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The LAPD is focusing its investigation on the Pacific and 77th Street areas. Initially, swastikas were found on multiple vehicles in the Ladera Heights and View Park-Windsor Hills neighborhoods, located in southwest Los Angeles County.
According to Sheriff’s officials, the victims discovered the vandalism on Friday morning after leaving their vehicles parked on neighborhood streets overnight. The affected neighborhoods are situated just south of Kenneth Hahn State Recreational Area.
At this time, there is no specific information available regarding the suspects, and the exact timeframe of the crimes remains unknown.
