Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recently launched the Activa Limited Edition scooter, targeting the Indian two-wheeler market. Priced at Rs 80,734 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), this special edition scooter is available for a limited time at all Honda Red Wing dealerships across India. The booking for the limited edition model began on September 27. According to Tsutsumu Otani, the Managing Director, President, and CEO of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, the Activa has been a popular choice among millions of Indians for the past two decades, appealing to people of all age groups and maintaining its status as India’s most beloved scooter.
Yogesh Mathur, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, mentioned that the Activa Limited Edition offers not only stylish looks but also advanced features and a reliable engine. He assured customers of HMSI’s commitment to introducing new and innovative products to meet their evolving aspirations.
The launch of the Activa Limited Edition just before the festive season in India is a strategic move, as it coincides with a rise in discretionary spending by consumers during this time. The scooter comes in two variants: the Activa DLX Limited Edition and the Activa Smart Limited Edition. Customers have the choice between two striking colors: Matte Steel Black Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue. The DLX variant includes alloy wheels, while the top-spec variant features Honda’s Smart Key system.
Powering the Activa Limited Edition is a 109.51 cc, single-cylinder, BSVI OBD2-compliant PGM-FI engine that delivers 5.77 kW of power and 8.90 Nm of torque. Buyers can rest easy with a special 10-year warranty package that includes three years of standard warranty and an optional seven-year extended warranty, ensuring peace of mind.
In terms of design, the Activa Limited Edition retains its classic look but adds a touch of style with a dark color theme and black chrome elements. This is the first product from HMSI to feature striking stripes on the body panels. The Activa emblem receives a black chrome garnish, and the rear grab rail is finished in a matching dark color.
Price-wise, the Activa DLX Limited Edition is priced at Rs. 80,734 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Activa Smart Limited Edition costs Rs. 82,734.
