Travis Kelce commends Taylor Swift for her daring presence at his Sunday night game in Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, co-hosted by his brother, Philadelphia Eagles’ Jason Kelce, Travis reflects on his experience with the singer.
“Shout out to Taylor for showing up. That was pretty ballsy,” Travis remarks. “I was amazed by the positive things said about her by everyone in the suite — friends, family, and fans. She looked stunning, and everyone was singing her praises.”
Travis is thrilled to witness Taylor’s interaction with his mother, Donna Kelce, who sat beside her in the viewing suite.
“I found it hilarious to see the slow-motion chest bumps, the high-fives with mom, and the excitement among the Chiefs kingdom because of her presence. It was a game I won’t forget,” says the Chiefs tight end.
In addition to Taylor’s support, Travis mentions that the day was perfect for Chiefs fans, as the Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious against the Chicago Bears.
“And then, at the end, we made our getaway in a convertible. I took my Chevelle to the game,” adds Travis. The pair was seen leaving the stadium together.
Travis also discusses how he had to adjust to the increased media attention following Taylor’s appearance at the NFL game, which caused a frenzy on the internet.
“I couldn’t help but notice the paparazzi outside my house, cameras in hand, screaming my name,” Travis shares.
Swifties have even been snapping up his jerseys and other merchandise from the official NFL store.
However, Travis admits on the podcast that he brought the attention upon himself.
“I started the whole friendship bracelet thing, and I publicly expressed my disappointment at not being able to meet Taylor,” he adds.
