Police in Hollywood are currently searching for suspects involved in a home-invasion robbery, as they seek to crack the case. The incident occurred on Mannix Drive in the 8100 block, at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Thursday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Authorities have revealed that the preliminary investigation suggests the robbery was carried out by three male individuals. These offenders managed to escape with a substantial amount of valuable possessions, although the exact value remains undisclosed.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, with only one of the three residents incurring a laceration. Local law enforcement has assured the public that they are diligently working on the case to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Through surveillance footage, a portion of the crime can be observed. The video depicts two masked suspects positioned outside the front door. The victims have asserted that these individuals were armed and managed to gain entry by breaking a side window.
As the footage continues, the suspects are seen exiting the premises, carrying numerous stolen items with them. Regrettably, one of the victims endured a painful pistol-whipping to the face during the course of the robbery.
According to KTLA, Ishmael Khan, a renowned social media influencer hailing from Dubai, was among the three unfortunate victims. Khan expressed his shock, claiming that the robbers had targeted him specifically through his Instagram account. He suspects that the culprits may have been former acquaintances or possibly even enemies.
The stolen loot is believed to include a coveted Rolex watch and various other items of significant value, which collectively amount to an estimated $20,000, as reported by local news outlets.
