According to KUSA, the peculiar traffic incident occurred on Monday night at the intersection of 168th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in Thornton, just ten miles north of Denver. Upon arriving at the scene, emergency responders discovered the front of the massive pickup truck resting on the driver compartment of the Corvette. The photos taken by the Thornton Fire Department reveal significant damage to the Corvette’s hood and windshield, while the rear of the sports car appeared unharmed.
Fortunately, the driver of the Corvette emerged from the crash unscathed, requiring no medical transportation. Multiple fire departments were present at the scene to lift the Silverado off the sports car and successfully separate the vehicles after removing the pickup truck’s right-front tire.
