Micro EVs like FAW Bestune Xiaoma: the captivating and eco-friendly choice

First Auto Works (FAW) is making a move to dominate the micro-EV segment with the introduction of their stylish and compact Xiaoma electric hatchback under the Bestune brand. Pre-sales for this adorable vehicle are set to begin this month. FAW Bestune Xiaoma is a major competitor to the best-selling micro car in China, the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV. The starting price for the Xiaoma ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 yuan (approximately Rs 3.47 lakh to Rs 5.78 lakh).

Features of FAW Bestune Xiaoma

The Bestune Xiaoma received its unveiling earlier this year at the Shanghai Auto Show by FAW. While both a hardtop and convertible version of the Xiaoma were showcased, only the hardtop variant will be available for purchase initially. There is speculation about the convertible version being introduced at a later date, which could have a significant appeal to those who desire a more adorable aesthetic.

The Xiaoma displays a charming, boxy profile with a dual-tone color scheme, reminiscent of characters from an animated movie. Its large square headlamps with rounded edges enhance its captivating appearance. The Xiaoma is equipped with aerodynamic wheels, which not only add to its aesthetic appeal but also contribute to its overall range. The rear of the vehicle showcases tail lamps and a bumper that follow the same design theme seen at the front.

The interiors of the Xiaoma are equally as charming with a flat dashboard and rotary control dials. It features a touchscreen display, measuring 7 inches in size. The dashboard exhibits an attractive dual-tone theme while the overall finish is smooth, utilizing the same materials used for mirrors.
