Los Angeles Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Gas Stations: Shocking Crime Confession

A Los Angeles man has pleaded guilty to a string of crimes, including carjacking and robberies at gas stations and markets. Namir Greene, 23, entered his guilty plea for one federal count of interference with commerce by robbery. He is set to be sentenced on November 29 and faces a potential 20-year prison term.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, during his crime spree in April, Greene used a gun to threaten store employees and demanded money from cash registers. He would brandish what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun, but was actually a BB gun.

One of the robberies Greene admitted to was at a Shell gas station in Marina del Rey. He made a purchase and waited until all other customers left before placing a brown paper bag on the counter and instructing the clerk to fill it with everything. While pointing the BB gun at the clerk, Greene managed to empty the cash register of around $700 before making his escape.

In addition, Greene confessed to committing armed robberies at various locations, including a Circle K in Long Beach, an AM/PM gas station in Whittier, the Gojo Ethio Market in Los Angeles, 7-Eleven stores in Pomona and Los Angeles, an Arco in Culver City, and a Mobile Fixx phone repair shop in Culver City.

Greene also revealed that he used the BB gun to steal a Honda Accord. The police found the stolen car in Ontario on April 15 and attempted to stop Greene, resulting in a pursuit. Eventually, Greene lost control of the car, crashed into a curb, and disabled the vehicle. He tried to flee on foot but was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement.

Authorities were able to identify Greene through security camera footage, eyewitness testimonies, his tattoos, his jewelry, and photos on his Instagram account.
