Florida Residents Wake up to Anti-Semitic Flyers in Their Driveways, Unveiling the Latest Disturbing Incident in the Sunshine State Following a Nazi March

Florida residents were shocked and appalled to discover anti-Semitic flyers in their yards, blaming Jewish people for the pandemic. The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office shared photos of small bags containing anti-Semitic rhetoric and unknown pellet-like items. Over 100 packets were distributed across Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County between Sunday evening and Monday morning. As one resident expressed their disbelief and outrage, it became clear that this was an unprecedented event in the community. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident in Florida, as a Nazi rally took place in Jacksonville on Sunday and another outside Disney World on Saturday.

The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office received calls from concerned citizens who found these offensive flyers in their yards, prompting the law enforcement agency to share photos and details on Facebook. The unsettling photos show a gloved hand holding a clear snack baggie containing a flyer. The flyer features a Star of David and a pentagram, with a label stating, “EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF THE COVID AGENDA IS JEWISH.” The distributor of the flyers blames various Jewish individuals for the Coronavirus pandemic, including CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, CDC Chief Medical Officer Mitchell Wolfe, and HHS Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine, who is also identified as transgender. The bottom of the flyer has a disclaimer claiming that the distribution was random and without malicious intent.

It remains unclear what substance was inside the packets, but the sheriff’s officials advised residents not to touch them. They recommended using gloves or a plastic bag to dispose of the packets without opening them. The responsible group, whose instructions can be found on their website, suggests using Ziploc baggies and weighting them down with items like rice or corn when distributing the flyers. The incidents have been condemned as cowardly acts of hatred, and community members are concerned that such actions could escalate to more dangerous acts.

These anti-Semitic incidents come on the heels of neo-Nazi marches held over the Labor Day weekend. Videos shared on social media captured groups like “Blood Tribe” and “The Goyim Defense League” marching in Cranes Roost Park, raising Nazi salutes and chanting “we are everywhere.” The Anti-Defamation League had previously warned about these gatherings, anticipating that they would take place in September and target high-visibility locations.

It is disheartening to see hate groups like the Order of the Black Sun take part in these demonstrations. The group, claiming affiliation with the “Aryan Freedom Network,” held their first protest outside Disney World in mid-June. They were joined by another group supporting Governor Ron DeSantis. The Order of the Black Sun is a recently formed white supremacist network, comprised of individuals who have been involved in other extremist organizations in Florida. This rise in anti-Semitic incidents and extremist activities is deeply troubling, as it goes against the principles of a diverse and inclusive society.
