A Virginia woman, aged 37, is facing charges of sexually abusing two underage twin brothers who were her neighbors. The arrest of Ashleigh Watts came after an anonymous tip and she is now charged with three counts of indecency with a minor, as per a report by WAVY. The alleged victims, who are 15-year-old friends of Watts’ son, had a close relationship with her family. Their parents and Watts’ husband confirmed this friendship, stating that they had an “open door policy” and would often visit each other’s homes, according to court documents cited by Law & Crime. The criminal complaint reveals that in February of this year, Watts’ husband found her topless on the couch with one of the twins when he came home around 2am.
The boy initially claimed he was pretending to be asleep and had gone to the house to smoke pot, but later admitted to his father and a neighbor that he had been involved in a sexual relationship with Watts since June 2022. He also stated that Watts had promised to marry him when he turned 17. In July, after the relationship was discovered, the twin ran away from home and was eventually found hiding in Watts’ bedroom three weeks later.
