Giuliani to Enter a Plea of Not Guilty in Fulton County Case, Choosing to Waive Arraignment

In the election case in Fulton County, Georgia, former President Donald Trump has entered a not guilty plea. Trump’s former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, will also enter a not guilty plea and waive arraignment. Giuliani is facing charges related to the racketeering case, where 19 people are accused of attempting to overturn Georgia’s vote after President Joe Biden’s victory.

Giuliani surrendered to Fulton County authorities and was released on bond. His spokesperson confirmed that he intends to waive arraignment, which is a common practice for defendants in Georgia. Trump was also charged in a federal case for interfering with the peaceful transfer of power, and he has entered a not guilty plea in that case as well.

Both Trump and Giuliani have denied any wrongdoing in these cases. Despite the legal actions against them, they continue to maintain their innocence.
