During a White Sox baseball game at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, two women sustained injuries in a shooting incident on Friday night.

According to Chicago police, a 42-year-old woman was shot in the leg, while a 26-year-old woman had a graze wound on her abdomen. The 42-year-old woman is in fair condition at University of Chicago Medical Center, while the 26-year-old woman refused medical attention.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident, and the information provided by Chicago police is still preliminary. It is unclear whether the shots were fired from inside or outside the ballpark. The shooting occurred in Section 161 in left-center field.

The game had an announced crowd of 21,906, and the Chicago White Sox lost 12-4 against the Oakland A’s. A postgame concert featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, and Tone Loc was canceled due to technical issues.
