iPhone 15 Pro Max in Australia Priced at $3,195 – Surpassing MacBook in Cost

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 models are poised to be their most expensive yet, with a starting price of at least $3,000 for the top-of-the-line smartphone version. What sets this model apart is its unprecedented two terabytes of storage.

Insiders in the industry reveal that the highly anticipated iPhone 15 Max 2TB could begin at A$3,195.

This puts it over 33% higher than the starting point for a 13-inch MacBook Pro laptop, which is A$1,999.

The iPhone 15 1TB model could cost up to $2,969, while the basic 128GB version will be priced at $2,099.

For comparison, the current models available in Australia, iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max with 1TB storage, start at A$1,749 and A$1,899 respectively.

According to Apple’s website, the basic iPhone 14 starts at A$1,399, while the iPhone 14 Plus is priced at $1,579.

Apple has kept mum about the upcoming iPhone 15 models, which are set to be unveiled in the US on September 12. However, they have hailed the latest versions as “the best iPhone ever”.

According to a recent report from men’s lifestyle publication Boss Hunting, the Australian release date for the iPhone 15 models is expected to be on or after September 22.

Apple Australia has not provided any new details as announcements have not yet been made.

The rumored iPhone 15 models to be released include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The flagship iPhone 15 Max 2TB will be the first phone ever to offer such a massive storage capacity. To put it into perspective, one terabyte is equivalent to 1,024 gigabytes and can hold roughly 555,555 JPEG images.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is also expected to be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants, although shipment may be delayed until October due to supply chain issues.

The high-end iPhone models are also rumored to introduce a titanium finish, an upgraded camera, and a powerful new chip. Titanium is known for its superior heat resistance and water damage protection compared to steel.
