Stefon Diggs expresses his desire to remain with the Buffalo Bills and not be traded. In his own words:
DIGGS @stefondiggs
100% not true. I don’t know who the source 😒 is but I thought I nip this shit in the bud already.
Diggs made this statement to refute a report from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on First Take. Smith claimed that Diggs wanted to leave the Bills due to a loss of belief in the team.
While Diggs is clearly annoyed with the situation, speculation about his status with the Bills has been ongoing during the offseason.
Earlier in June, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Diggs had missed time at the team’s mandatory minicamp due to an unrelated “in-house situation.”

And perhaps things are on the way to being resolved. More here 👇👇👇 pic.twitter.com/6X4vZnipxg
Bills head coach Sean McDermott expressed concern about Diggs’ absence, while quarterback Josh Allen acknowledged the need for better communication within the organization.
It’s worth noting that Diggs’ frustration was evident during the Bills’ playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last season.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane appeared on the Pat McAfee Show in August and confirmed that Diggs had not requested a trade.
For now, Diggs seems content in Buffalo. He has restructured his contract with the team during the offseason and is actively addressing rumors to negate any suggestions of wanting to leave before the season begins.
Diggs is widely regarded as one of the best wide receivers in the league and is part of a talented team capable of competing for a Super Bowl.
His focus remains on football, especially with the season opener against the New York Jets approaching, and he quickly dismisses any notion of his mind being elsewhere.
