TMZ Reports: Kid Rock Spotted Enjoying Bud Light After Engaging in Transgender Controversy

  • Kid Rock was seen enjoying a can of Bud Light during a concert, according to TMZ.
  • In April, the musician posted a video of himself shooting and criticizing the beer brand.
  • The company faced backlash from conservatives due to their social media campaign featuring transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Kid Rock was recently seen sipping on a can of Bud Light, despite his previous video where he destroyed cases of the beer with a rifle.

Back in April, the country rocker filmed himself shooting and destroying multiple cases of Bud Light on his property, expressing his displeasure with the brand’s social media campaign that featured transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

After targeting the beer in his video, Kid Rock now seems to have had a change of heart as TMZ captured him holding a distinctive blue Bud Light can at a Colt Ford concert in Nashville.

Mulvaney, known for her TikTok series “Days of Girlhood” documenting her gender transition, has gained over 10 million followers on the app.

Bud Light’s controversial social media campaign featuring Mulvaney, which included her Instagram video showcasing their beers, faced significant backlash from conservatives due to her transgender identity.

Conservative celebrities and consumers publicly pledged to boycott the beer brand, leading to a drop in sales.

As a result of the right-wing backlash, Bud Light lost its position as the top-selling beer brand in the US and has since been working to rebuild its image.

A recent survey revealed that Bud Light has managed to win back 15% of the boycotting consumers following the Mulvaney collaboration.
