1. Explore the Grand Canyon

2. Visit Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend, located in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, is approximately a two-and-a-half-hour drive from the Grand Canyon. Visiting both of these sites on the same trip is feasible.

This stunning, horseshoe-shaped geographic feature in the Colorado River is a must-see destination. The hike to the lookout point is approximately 1.5 miles roundtrip. Make sure to pack sufficient water and sun protection for your visit.
Horseshoe Bend is conveniently close to Antelope Canyon, with just nine miles separating them. Keep in mind that you need a tour guide to enter Antelope Canyon, so it’s advisable to plan ahead and secure your spot.
3. Take a hike in Sedona or Phoenix
Arizona offers numerous hiking opportunities throughout the state, with Sedona and Phoenix hosting many of the most popular trails.
Sedona boasts hikes like Devil’s Bridge, Cathedral Rock, and Bell Rock. These hikes are relatively short, so you won’t have to trek for miles to experience the breathtaking red rock scenery. Devil’s Bridge is approximately a 1.8-mile roundtrip hike, while Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock are around the same length at 3.7 miles roundtrip.
