Recently evicted “Big Brother” contestant Luke Valentine took to Instagram to address his eviction, which was a result of him using a racial slur on camera.

In a video shared on his Instagram Story, Valentine, a 30-year-old illustrator from Coral Springs, Florida, seemed unfazed by the controversy that led to his removal from the reality competition.

In the video, Valentine, shirtless and visibly sweating, assured his followers that he is “alive” and encouraged them to keep supporting him until next time.

He said, “Hey guys, just letting you know, I’m alive, I’ve arrived, and you gotta keep the flames stoked until next time.”

“We can’t burn out, no, no, no, the fires of love will continue to burn, baby,” he added.

“So thank you for all the memes, thank you for all the support, all the kind words,” he expressed his gratitude before ending the video.

Despite receiving numerous comments on his recent Instagram posts from viewers, Valentine did not offer an apology for his offensive language on “Big Brother.”

Last week, Valentine was caught on live camera using a racial slur during a conversation with fellow houseguests.

CBS and “Big Brother” producers released a statement saying, “Luke violated the ‘Big Brother’ code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house.”

The current season of “Big Brother” premiered on August 2 with 17 houseguests competing for a $750,000 prize.

Subscribers can watch a 24/7 live feed of the houseguests on Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

This isn’t the first time a “Big Brother” contestant has been removed from the show for inappropriate behavior. Throughout the show’s 25 seasons, four other houseguests have been ejected for violent behavior and breaking the rules.
