According to reports, Lil Tay also addressed the situation on Instagram, stating that her account was hacked by a third party who spread false information about her. She emphasized that her legal name is Tay Tian, not “Claire Hope”, as mistakenly stated in the misleading posts.

The statement followed another mysterious Instagram post from an account called @termanii.__, which claimed that Lil Tay and her brother were still alive but had lost access to their official Instagram account.

Furthermore, both the Los Angeles Police Department and the county medical examiner had no information regarding an investigation into the death of anyone named Claire Hope, as reported by Insider.
