Zuckerberg Ridicules Musk’s Announcement of Live Streaming the Fight on X

The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, ridiculed Elon Musk’s recent announcement about a potential cage match between the two tech billionaires being live-streamed on X, formerly known as Twitter. Zuckerberg questioned the choice of platform, suggesting that they should use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity. He shared his thoughts on Threads, Meta’s new alternative to X.

Zuckerberg’s statement came shortly after Musk announced on X that the fight would be live-streamed on his platform, with all proceeds going to charity for veterans.

The discussion about the fight began in June when Musk expressed his willingness to participate in a cage match if Zuckerberg was up for it. Zuckerberg responded with “Send Me Location” on Instagram. Since then, the two CEOs have engaged in a back-and-forth on social media, teasing the cage fight and sparking memes and “choose your fighter” posts.

In a separate post on X, Musk shared that he was lifting weights throughout the day to prepare for the fight, bringing them to work because he didn’t have time to work out.

Last month, Zuckerberg was photographed training with Israel Adesanya, a Nigerian-New Zealand mixed martial artist who has achieved success in the UFC with 24 wins.

Musk mentioned that the exact date of the fight is still uncertain as he may require surgery before it can take place. He plans to get an MRI of his neck and upper back on Monday to determine if surgery is necessary.
