Aug. 4 (UPI) — The highly anticipated live stream of Genshin Impact unveiled the captivating new region of Fontaine.
This special program showcased a plethora of exciting features, including fresh characters, thrilling events, and innovative mechanics present in Version 4.0.
Published by HoYoverse, the open-world action role-playing game will officially debut Fontaine, the game’s fifth region, on August 15th in the United States.
Version 4.0 introduces enchanting new characters to the game. Among them are the skilled magician siblings, Lyney and Lynette, along with their brother, Freminet.
Lyney, utilizing a Pyro vision, showcases his exceptional archery skills, while Lynette, a sword-user with the power of Anemo, captivates players with her agility and precision. Lastly, Freminet wields a claymore and possesses a Cryo vision, allowing him to freeze opponents in their tracks.
This version will also introduce Furina, the formidable Hydro Archon.
The first phase of the 4.0 banners will focus on Lyney and the previously released character Yelan, accompanied by Lynette. The second phase will bring back Zhongli and Childe, along with the addition of Freminet.
Moreover, the special program offered players a sneak peek into the mesmerizing underwater areas that await exploration.
