Ueshima Coffee Co. Ltd. (UCC) Holdings Japan, a global integrated coffee business, recently unveiled the impressive showroom and headquarters for Allegro Beverage Corp in Mandaluyong City. Allegro Beverage, a major distributor of coffee machines in the country, became part of the UCC family in 2017. During the event, Yasmin A. Vasquez, the CEO of Allegro Beverage, shared the company’s expansion plans, with branches set to open in Albay and Palawan. Currently, Allegro Beverage has branches in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga, as well as dealerships in various locations across the Philippines.
According to Hubert Young, the president and CEO of UCC Philippines, the addition of Allegro Beverage to the UCC Group complements their business as they cover the entire coffee value chain, from farm to cup. Young noted that UCC is committed to driving positive change in the coffee industry and the acquisition of Allegro Beverage aligns with their vision of promoting sustainable practices and supporting coffee communities worldwide. Their goal is to source 100% sustainable coffee for all UCC brands by 2030. Young believes that Allegro Beverage, as one of their business units, will play a crucial role in meeting the needs of the coffee community.
The newly unveiled Allegro Beverage showroom showcases top coffee machine brands from Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, and other countries. Additionally, the facility includes a service center for coffee machine maintenance. Allegro Beverage also offers a range of products, including sauces, syrups, teas, oat milk, and high-quality coffee roasted by UCC. The company’s corporate clientele, which includes hotels, franchise chains, culinary and educational institutions, restaurants, and cafes, now have access to a wider range of coffee solutions and innovations.
Vasquez expressed her excitement for the future, stating that Allegro Beverage, with its new showroom, service center, and rebranding, is ready to be a partner in brewing new opportunities. The expansion to Albay and Palawan will be done through dealers who will have their own brands while carrying Allegro products.
