Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, has been named the sole trustee of her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley’s estate. The appointment was approved by Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Keough, Lisa Marie Presley’s eldest daughter, filed a comprehensive 73-page petition on June 12 to support her bid for the role of head trustee of the family’s Promenade Trust. Prior to this appointment, Keough had reached a settlement agreement with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, and Michael Lockwood, the guardian ad litem for her younger half-siblings, Harper and Finley Lockwood, who are both 14 years old. Lockwood was Lisa Marie Presley’s fourth husband, from whom she later divorced.
In addition to overseeing the Promenade Trust, 34-year-old Keough, also known as Danielle Riley Keough, will be responsible for managing the sub-trusts for her half-sisters. Priscilla Presley will serve as a special adviser to the trust and receive a monthly payment for her role. Furthermore, Priscilla Presley will have the privilege of being buried at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s former home in Memphis, Tennessee, which Keough will now own.
Keough recently gained recognition for her performance in the Amazon Prime miniseries “Daisy Jones & the Six.”
Lisa Marie Presley passed away on January 12 at the age of 54. She had been hospitalized after experiencing cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles residence.
