Lost Phone Found with Life Goals Listed on Lock Screen by a Man

  • A smartphone was lost by an individual while skiing at Perisher Ski Resort in Perisher Valley, Australia.
  • Shea Sedgman found the phone and shared a photo because of the unique life goals displayed on the lock screen.
  • These goals included “get jacked,” “have 3 girls on roster,” and “don’t get a haircut for 3 months.”

Losing a phone is never enjoyable. However, imagine if the entire world discovered your list of life goals after you lost your phone.

This was the situation for an unnamed skier who had a picture of their resolutions, including goals of getting jacked and dating three girls simultaneously, set as their lock screen image. Unfortunately, they later lost their phone while skiing on the slopes.

Shea Sedgman, a member of the Perisher Snow Lovers Facebook group for skiers and snowboarders in Perisher Valley, Australia, posted a picture of the phone. This Facebook group is known for sharing posts about lost personal items at the resort.

“Phone found halfway down Front Valley, handed into the booking office. Good luck with your goals,” Sedgman wrote in the caption of the post, which quickly gained viral attention.

Sedgman shared with Insider that he discovered the phone while skiing at Perisher Ski Resort. He almost ran over the phone while about halfway down his run, and his girlfriend picked it up.

When they reached the bottom of the mountain, Sedgman checked the phone and saw the distinct goals listed on the lock screen. The goals included “get jacked and be at 87 kgs,” “quit all nicotine,” “have $25,000 in bank account,” “have motorbike,” “get better at fighting,” “get good marks at uni,” “have 3 girls on roster,” and “don’t get a haircut for 3 months.”

Sedgman had a laugh when he saw the lock screen, although he found it a bit cringey. He expressed hope that the goals were not in priority order.

When Sedgman turned in the phone at the resort’s booking office, he informed the woman at the front desk that the lock screen was “a bit interesting.” He handed it over and walked away, finding it funnier that way.

Maddi Ventura, the marketing manager at Perisher Ski Resort, confirmed that the phone had been turned in and returned to its owner. She gave a reminder to hold on to belongings while on the slopes.
