Final Film of Cocktail Cinema Series at Palm Springs Art Museum Features `Selena’

The Palm Springs Art Museum is wrapping up its summer film series with the final screening of its free Cocktail Cinema event on Thursday evening.

The last showing in the series will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the museum’s Annenberg Theater, located at 101 Museum Drive. While entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, attendees must register in advance at store.psmuseum.org/cocktail-cinema/.

The museum officials stated, “Our final film, ‘Selena,’ tells the tragic story of the renowned young artist whose music played a significant role in redefining Latin music, particularly in the genres of Tejano, cumbia, and Latin pop. Before the film, gather with friends for a cocktail hour and enjoy a specialty drink inspired by the film, created by PSBS and That’s The Spirit Mobile Bar.”
