Grammy-winning singer Tori Kelly is currently receiving treatment for recently discovered blood clots around her vital organs.
The news was first reported by TMZ, who stated that the singer collapsed while dining with friends in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.
After fainting, Kelly was unconscious for a period of time.
Kelly was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors found blood clots around her lungs and legs. They are also conducting tests on her heart to check for any additional blood clots.
According to a source, Kelly’s condition is currently “really serious” and she has been drifting in and out of consciousness while in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Representatives for Kelly have not publicly commented on her situation.
However, fans have taken to social media to express their concern and send well wishes for Kelly’s health.
Kelly gained recognition when she competed on Season 9 of American Idol, although she was eliminated before the final 24 contestants were selected.
