The PAC has amassed over $130 million, primarily from funds raised during DeSantis’ gubernatorial reelection campaign last year. The PAC has been instrumental in organizing ground campaigns in early primary states, with plans to expand to a total of 18 states.

DeSantis and his campaign recently held a retreat for donors in Utah, where they acknowledged the need for adjustments and a more tactical approach moving forward. The campaign identified areas of excess spending, such as large-scale events and fundraisers requiring extensive travel, which may be reevaluated in favor of digital alternatives. The campaign plans to continue its fundraising efforts in various states through mid-August.
