Hollywood Park Entertainment Complex Debuts Exquisite Luxury Cinema

Inglewood is set to have its own movie theater after almost thirty years. The new Cinepolis multiplex and IMAX, located at the Hollywood Park shopping and entertainment complex near SoFi Stadium, will open its 12 screens on Friday. This opening marks the first retailer to launch at the complex.

The Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX offers a unique cinema experience, featuring 1,236 seats spread across 55,137 square feet. The concept includes a cocktail lounge with both indoor and outdoor seating, complete with large-screen TVs that can transform the space into a sports bar.

The theaters are equipped with all-leather reclining seats and offer in-theater dining service. Patrons can conveniently order food and drinks from their seats with the push of a button. This complex is known for being one of the few IMAX theaters globally to provide in-seat dining service.

Luis Olloqui, CEO of the Mexico-based Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas, expressed excitement about introducing this special cinema experience to the Inglewood community. He stated, “By incorporating innovative concepts to meet the ever-evolving needs of moviegoers, we are thrilled to bring refined luxury and convenience to Hollywood Park, establishing it as a world-class sports and entertainment destination for everyone to enjoy.”

Visitors to the theater can expect a full bar and kitchen with a diverse menu that includes snacks like nachos and fried pickles, as well as burgers, sandwiches, pizza, wings, tacos, and various bowls inspired by Middle Eastern, Southwest, and Asian cuisines.

The operators have also planned rotating daily discounts, such as a happy hour and half-price tickets every Tuesday. Additionally, Sundays will offer $6 Bloody Marys and mimosas.

Jason Gannon, managing director of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, emphasized the significance of the movie theater to the local community, saying, “With the opening of Cinépolis, we are fulfilling the community’s desire for a movie theater, which has been absent in Inglewood for nearly three decades. This incredible entertainment experience will allow Inglewood and the greater Los Angeles area to share in Stan Kroenke’s vision of transforming Hollywood Park into a year-round destination.”

The Hollywood Park property, sprawling across 300 acres south of the Kia Forum east of Prairie Avenue, is centered around SoFi Stadium. However, it also boasts an 890,000-square-foot retail space, office buildings, and park areas. Other notable businesses already confirmed to join the retail space include the Three Weavers Brewery, Iconix Fitness gym, Red Bay Coffee, Grilled Fraiche, Antojitos Martin, and Sky’s Gourmet Tacos.
