The Palm Springs Art Museum is excited to announce the upcoming “Ask Me Anything Aluminaire” event, where art enthusiasts can gather knowledge about the museum’s new permanent exhibit.
“Aluminaire House, considered a masterpiece of modernist design, will be permanently installed on the museum grounds beginning this summer. Built in 1931, it was the first all-aluminum prefabricated house in the U.S.,” stated museum officials.
This informative event will take place on Thursday at 6 p.m., at the Palm Springs Art Museum’s Annenberg Theater, located at 101 Museum Drive. For those unable to attend in person, there will be a live-stream available for purchase on psmuseum.org.
During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to join a panel discussion with museum CEO Adam Lerner, and board trustee Leo Marmol of Marmol Radziner. The panel will be moderated by the museum’s Chief Education and Community Engagement Officer, Luisa Heredia.
In addition to the historical background of the Aluminaire House, the panel will shed light on how visitors will experience the new installation at the museum.
