Mark Zuckerberg showcases toned physique in picture with MMA fighters

In his latest Instagram post, Mark Zuckerberg, the 39-year-old CEO of Meta, showcased his impressive physique alongside two prominent MMA fighters, Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski. The photo, shared with his 12.1 million followers on Tuesday, has already garnered nearly 2 million likes. Adesanya and Volkanovski boast an impressive record of 50 wins and only four losses between them. Adesanya playfully captioned the post, alluding to a potential cage fight between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Although no time or location has been announced, UFC President Dana White has confirmed discussions with both parties about making the fight happen in Las Vegas.

Zuckerberg’s victory over the 52-year-old Musk seems likely, especially after his recent success at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament, where he won gold and silver medals. The Facebook founder revealed his passion for the sport during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” last year, which was further fueled during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Zuckerberg has trained with top MMA and jiu-jitsu names such as Mikey Musumeci, Dave Camarillo, and Khai Wu. Similarly, Musk has enlisted the help of his own high-profile trainers, with recent training sessions alongside Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Lex Fridman.

Fridman expressed his admiration for Musk’s “strength, power, and skill,” despite Musk jokingly claiming his signature move is “The Walrus, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing.” Additionally, Musk has accepted UFC legend Georges St-Pierre’s offer to train him for the upcoming cage match. St-Pierre, a retired champion, offered his services to Musk via Twitter, and Musk eagerly embraced the opportunity.

Although the actual cage fight has yet to occur, social media users have already deemed the release of Meta’s Threads as a metaphorical cage fight. Threads, referred to as the “Twitter killer,” quickly rose to the top of Apple’s App Store in the UK and the US within 24 hours of its release, accumulating over 100 million users in just five days. This led to a decline in Twitter’s traffic, prompting Musk to challenge Zuckerberg to a “d–k measuring contest” in a peculiar tweet, shortly after calling him a “cuck.”
