July 12 (UPI) — Jack Winn Pro, a leading beauty product line, has severed ties with Studio 8 Hair Lab in Traverse City, Michigan, after the salon’s owner, Christine Geiger, made offensive remarks against the transgender community on social media. Geiger’s now-deleted Facebook post mocked individuals who identify as non-binary, suggesting they seek services at a pet groomer while insinuating that gay people are pedophiles.

“Jack Winn Pro strongly believes in and supports LGBTQ+ rights. We are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful environment for all,” the company stated in a news release.

“It has come to our attention that disturbing comments have been attributed to one of our product users. We want to make it clear that we disapprove and reject hate speech in any form. Such actions go against the very values we hold dear and strive to uphold.

“Importantly: The stylist who made those comments no longer has authorization to represent our brand or products.”

Although the original and now-deleted post cannot be independently verified, reports from the Detroit Free Press and other news outlets suggest Geiger has stood by her offensive comments.

In response to the controversy, Studio 8 Hair Lab has made its Instagram account private, while asserting itself as “a private CONSERVATIVE business that does not cater to woke ideologies.”

“I have no issues with LGB. It’s the TQ+ that I’m not going to support,” Geiger wrote in the Facebook group Overheard in Traverse City.

In the LGBTQ+ acronym, L represents lesbian, G represents gay, B represents bisexual, T represents transgender, and Q represents queer or questioning. The plus sign encompasses individuals who identify as pansexual, asexual, two-spirit, or with other gender and sexual identities. It should be noted that the LGBTQ+ community firmly rejects pedophilia.

“For those that don’t know what the + is for, it’s for MAP,” she claimed, referring to the acronym for “Minor-Attracted Person” or pedophile.

“This stance was taken to ensure that clients have the best experience, and I acknowledge that since I am not willing to conform to using preferred pronouns or accommodate requests that deviate from what I perceive as normal, my salon may not be the best fit for that type of client.”

Geiger’s Facebook profile, where she made the controversial comments, reveals that she also goes by the name “@prinzss” on Truth Social, the social media platform launched by former President Donald Trump.

On her Truth Social profile, she identifies herself as a resident of Traverse City, and her photos match those on her Facebook account.

“The circles on the first picture show approximately where I was that day. Yep, there were that many people behind me!” she posted on Truth Social after the two-year anniversary of the Capitol riot. “Prayers for the wrongfully detained.”

Geiger shared images of herself among large groups of people, although it remains unclear whether she actively participated in the riot or merely attended Trump’s rally beforehand.

In her Facebook post, Geiger also asserted that “conservatives need to acclimate these woke individuals to their new reality.”

“Conservatives have HAD ENOUGH of their ideologies being projected onto us,” she wrote.

“We used to ‘just let them be.’ Most of us kept our opinions to ourselves. I mean why look for unnecessary conflict; right? Well, the other side used this against us. They mistook our silence for weakness.”
