Partnership: Waitrose is teaming up with Uber Eats

Waitrose has partnered with Uber Eats to offer a 20-minute delivery service for groceries.

Starting today, customers can order groceries from five Waitrose stores in London – Finchley Road, West Hampstead, Clerkenwell, St Katharine Docks, and Greenwich.

The service will be expanded to more than 200 stores across the UK by the end of August. James Bailey, executive director at Waitrose, stated, “On-demand grocery shopping continues to grow in popularity with our customers.”

In addition to Waitrose, shoppers can also order groceries from Asda, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Iceland, and Morrisons through Uber Eats. Tesco has its own rapid delivery service called Whoosh.
