Maria Menounos Flaunts Cancer Surgery Scars with Confidence in Bikini Selfie

The TV presenter expressed her own resilience in a thought-provoking Instagram post on Sunday. In the post, she shared a bikini selfie that showcased her surgery scars.

In the photo, Menounos can be seen wearing a brown two-piece that reveals the scars across her abdomen. These scars are a result of a surgery she underwent in January, during which a tumor, part of her pancreas, her spleen, a large fibroid, and 17 lymph nodes were removed.

In the caption accompanying the photo, Menounos acknowledged the strength that helped her get through the surgery. She expressed gratitude for both her own resilience and the support she received from others.

Reflecting on her scars, Menounos now sees them as a sign of triumph. She takes great care to protect them with sunscreen and wears them proudly.

Menounos publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis in May. She shared that she discovered she had stage two pancreatic cancer shortly after learning that her surrogate was pregnant with her and her husband’s first child.

Despite experiencing trauma and stress throughout the year, Menounos remains optimistic. She expressed gratitude for her good health as she prepares to welcome her baby girl this summer.

With her newfound perspective, Menounos views her baby as a miracle and cherishes the opportunity to raise her even more.
