The duo recently attended a story conference with O’Hara on July 4, which was documented on Viva Films’ Instagram page. Barretto will be portraying the character of Jasmine Rodriguez, a young woman with aspirations to join a world-renowned choir. On the other hand, Muhlach will take on the role of Michael Capistrano, the conductor of a local chorale in Baguio.

During the story conference, Barretto expressed her excitement, stating that this project has always been a dream of hers. She added that her mother, Marjorie, is also thrilled about her involvement in the film. Muhlach, likewise, spoke about the blessing it is for him as an actor to work with Barretto.
