An individual has been taken into custody for allegedly sexually assaulting and recording women. The Los Angeles Police Department is urging other potential victims to come forward.
Terrance Hawkins, a 41-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was apprehended on April 26 in downtown Los Angeles. He is currently being held on a no-bail warrant for multiple charges including forcible rape, stalking, and intimate partner violence.
In an effort to gather more information, detectives shared a photograph of Hawkins in May and encouraged other potential victims to come forward. Since then, several women have come forward with allegations.
The LAPD has recently renewed their appeal, emphasizing that there may still be unidentified victims connected to this case.
According to a statement released by the police, Hawkins has a long history of forming brief relationships with women, subjecting them to abuse, and secretly recording their intimate encounters. Detectives strongly suspect that there are additional victims who have not come forward yet.
