According to CNN, Lori Milliron, the girlfriend of a Pennsylvania dentist who was convicted of murdering his wife on a safari, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison. Milliron had been found guilty of being an accessory after the fact to murder, obstruction of justice, and perjury. Prosecutors argued that Milliron encouraged Lawrence Rudolph to murder his wife and showed no remorse. Rudolph awaits his own sentencing after being convicted of murder and insurance fraud.

Fox News reports that Lawrence “Larry” Rudolph, a dentist from the Pittsburgh area, has been found guilty of murdering his wife during an African safari in 2016. Bianca Rudolph was fatally shot as they were preparing to leave Zambia, with Larry claiming it was an accident. However, prosecutors argued that the evidence showed otherwise. In addition to the murder conviction, Larry Rudolph was also found guilty of mail fraud for cashing in on his wife’s life insurance policies. The trial took place in Denver due to the location of the defrauded insurance companies.

Prosecutors presented evidence suggesting that Larry Rudolph killed his wife because he wanted to be with his office assistant and mistress, Lori Milliron.
