Woman Detained Following Departure from Correctional Reentry Program

A 25-year-old woman, Aleisha Schmitz, who allegedly absconded from a state correctional reentry program in Los Angeles, has been apprehended once again. Schmitz was taken into custody without any resistance around 5:35 p.m. on Saturday in North Hills, as confirmed by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).

Schmitz had reportedly left the Custody to Community Transitional Reentry Program in Los Angeles County, although the exact date of her departure remains unknown.
