Renowned YouTube personality Matthew Beem has achieved a new feat by constructing the world’s largest ice cream cone, showcasing his talent for building impressive props and objects in his videos.

With a subscriber count of 4.1 million, Beem has previously created Minecraft models, a colossal toilet seat, and gigantic boxing gloves in his YouTube content. He has also collaborated with prominent YouTubers, including his partnership with MrBeast to recreate a character from the popular Netflix show “Squid Game”.

Beem’s latest video, titled “I Made The World’s Largest Ice Cream Cone!”, documents his attempt to surpass the previous record set in 2015 according to Guinness World Records by building a cone that stands over 10 feet tall.

To achieve this record-breaking feat, Beem and his team designed a massive metal frame to support the cone, incorporated a compartment filled with dry ice to maintain the ice cream’s coolness, and utilized a waffle maker to create cone pieces that they assembled using chocolate.

To accomplish this impressive record, Beem collaborated with MuddyBites, a US snack company, seeking their advice on a chocolate recipe and other logistics required to complete the project.

Throughout the video, Beem and his team encountered various challenges. Initially, they struggled with the waffle pieces adhering to the chocolate cone. During transportation to the record-checking event, they discovered that some waffle pieces had fallen off and needed reattachment.

Furthermore, while filling the cone with ice cream, the warm weather caused some of the soft-served treat to melt and fall to the ground, resulting in expressions of astonishment from onlookers.

Upon completion of the project, Beem and his team filmed a representative from the World Record Academy measuring the cone, certifying that Beem had indeed broken the record by constructing an 11 feet tall structure.

A spokesperson for MuddyBites disclosed that the record-breaking creation required approximately 100 pounds of waffle cone, 300 pounds of chocolate, and over 1,000 pounds of vanilla ice cream.

In a statement provided to Insider, Beem expressed the extensive planning and determination needed to break the world record. He acknowledged the moments of uncertainty during the two-hour drive from the construction site to the measurement location, but praised his exceptional team for maintaining the cone’s integrity and successfully completing the build on the designated day.

Commenters on the video expressed admiration for Beem’s dedication and effort in creating these captivating videos featuring the construction of large objects.

“I love the creativity and originality of this video, it’s so refreshing to see something new on YouTube,” one viewer commented.

Beem previously shared that he has been producing content across various YouTube channels for over a decade. However, his current main channel gained significant traction in 2021 after his collaboration with MrBeast, the most-followed individual YouTuber globally. Beem’s subscriber count jumped from 19,000 to 1.2 million within six months, as per analytics tracker SocialBlade.
