Renowned singer Jill Scott has announced the resumption of her chart-topping album tour, “Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol I,” which was cut short due to the pandemic. The North Philadelphia native will play the album in full, performing hits like “Gettin’ in the Way” and “A Long Walk” across more than 20 locations in the US, including multi-show residencies in Washington, D.C. over Mother’s Day weekend and at The MET Philadelphia in her hometown. This marks the first time Scott will perform in Philadelphia, and her Arden Theatre fundraiser will support her non-profit organization, the Blues Babe Foundation. Pre-sales for the tour begin December 6, with the first show scheduled for February at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA. With her debut album going double platinum and gaining multiple Grammy nominations, Scott invites fans to “come feel again,” reliving their favorite moments as they settle down with her vibrant music.
