“Reno 911!” star Thomas Lennon had an unforgettable experience working side by side with Matthew Perry on the CBS revival of “The Odd Couple.” Airing for three successful seasons from 2015 to 2017, the show showcased Perry’s talents as both a developer and executive producer, in addition to his role as the lovable Oscar Madison. Lennon, on the other hand, portrayed the quirky Felix Unger. The series also featured Lindsay Sloane, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Wendell Pierce, and was based on Neil Simon’s famous play, which later became a beloved 1970s TV sitcom.
Lennon and Perry, who had previously collaborated on the 2009 comedy film “17 Again,” reunited for this project. Forgiveness came easily because he was a man constantly striving to improve. Perry was always willing to have a meaningful conversation, never wanting to be alone. His ultimate goal was to bring laughter to others, even if the cost was swallowing those painful swords.
