TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays have placed Kevin Kiermaier on the 10-day injured list.
The club announces that Kiermaier, an outfielder, sustained a cut to his right elbow, leading to his placement on the injured list. The move is retroactive to August 7.
Kiermaier incurred the injury during Sunday’s game against the Boston Red Sox. He made a leaping catch against the center-field fence at Fenway Park.
