In a brazen move, the White House Counsel’s Office has sent out a memo instructing media organizations to ramp up their attacks on Republicans and defend Joe Biden during the upcoming House impeachment inquiry.
The memo, titled “MEMO TO EDITORIAL LEADERSHIP AT U.S. NEWS MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS,” was released on Wednesday morning with the intention of encouraging the media to scrutinize the “demonstrably false claims” made by House Republicans as they pursue impeachment.
Ian Sams, the special assistant to the president and senior adviser and spokesman for the White House Counsel’s Office, declared that it is time for the media to do more in order to combat the baseless allegations being made by Republicans.
This directive from the White House exposes their true intentions and embarrasses the media outlets that have been complacent with Joe Biden instead of holding him accountable.
The media that should have been critical of the president are now left scratching their heads and feeling humiliated.
But they don’t need a memo to tell them what to do. They have already been acting as Joe Biden’s mouthpiece since the beginning.
The memo asserts that “there’s simply no evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong,” and cites quotes from Republicans such as Ken Buck and Don Bacon to support this claim.
Accompanying the memo is a 16-page dossier containing quotes from the FBI, Washington Post, New York Times, NBC, CNN, and Associated Press, all exonerating Joe Biden. These once-respected news organizations have become a parody of themselves, blindly supporting Biden’s narrative despite mounting evidence of corruption and wrongdoing.
By doing so, they are complicit in keeping the American electorate uninformed.
The media conveniently ignores all the evidence against Joe Biden, including bank records, shell companies, SEC complaints, sworn testimony, IRS whistleblower statements, FBI informant files, emails, texts, WhatsApp messages, photos, speakerphone calls, voicemails, White House visitor logs, Air Force 2 travel logs, Joe’s pseudonym email addresses, and his questionable associations with foreign benefactors.
Gaslighting the nation
When it came to impeaching Donald Trump, Democrats claimed that a single public phone call was enough evidence to indict him. Joe Biden himself said that Trump had “indicted himself” and “convicted himself in full view of the world and the American people.”
But when it comes to impeaching Biden, the media is instructed to believe that there’s simply no evidence. This gaslighting is the Democrats’ only defense.
With critics like David Ignatius and Morning Joe losing faith in Biden’s abilities, the White House is starting to panic.
For years, they denied any involvement by Joe Biden in his son’s scams. Now they claim there is no “direct evidence” or “firm evidence.” But the truth is, there is plenty of evidence, both direct and circumstantial.
The White House could have avoided all this by urging Biden to come clean and address the allegations against him. If he is innocent, why not defend himself and clear his name?
But instead, Biden continues to deny any knowledge of his son’s activities, despite numerous meetings and phone calls documented by witnesses. The White House’s attempt to downplay these connections is laughable.
Crazy like a bathrobe
The president’s cognitive decline has become increasingly apparent. While he may have moments of clarity, it’s clear that his mental abilities are deteriorating.
Foreign leaders who have met with Biden in international settings have noticed his lack of focus and reliance on notes. It’s difficult to ignore the fact that his cognitive decline seems more than just a result of medication or aging.
Could it be that Biden is employing the old “bathrobe” defense used by mob boss Vincent Gigante in the ’60s? Gigante would wander around in a bathrobe, pretending to be crazy in order to evade law enforcement.
Perhaps, when the truth finally catches up to Biden, he will claim dementia as a way to escape accountability. And unfortunately, there will be those who sympathize with him and turn against his accusers.
But let’s not forget the seriousness of the situation. It’s not a joke. We need to carefully consider the evidence and hold our leaders accountable.
