Jonathan Majors arrived in a Manhattan courtroom on Monday sporting a dark suit, sunglasses, black boots, and a black beret, carrying a Bible and a notebook. Accompanying him were his girlfriend, Meagan Good, and another woman. When asked about the trial as a ‘test of your faith’, Majors declined to comment, but kissed Good and other women in the gallery before his trial for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Majors is facing a count of intentional assault, reckless assault, and aggravated harassment related to an alleged incident that occurred on March 25th, 2023.
The actor, known for his religious beliefs, has been accused of assaulting Jabbari to ‘cover up his infidelity and establish control’ after she saw a flirty text on his phone from another woman. Prosecutors in the Manhattan Criminal Court outlined the alleged assault, claiming that Majors had physically abused Jabbari, leading to a ‘tragic end of their relationship’. The allegations have derailed Majors’ career as he was dropped by his management and publicist, following his arrest in connection with the incident. Despite the allegations, he has vehemently denied the charges against him.
