Their intimate wedding featured 60 cherished guests and incorporated a land acknowledgment to pay respect to the Lenape people. Additionally, the couple included the tradition of jumping the broom, a symbolic act that holds deep meaning for them, as Ms. Rouse stated, “It truly signifies leaving behind a part of our lives and embracing a future together.”
