The Niro PHEV is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine assisted by an electric motor, producing a combined output of 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. It uses a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox and is powered by an 11.1 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion polymer battery pack. The EX model has an all-electric range of 33 miles and a maximum driving distance of 510 miles, with a combined fuel economy of 48 miles per gallon.
Opting for the SX Touring trim offers additional features, such as 18-inch wheels, power-folding heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, gloss black trim on various exterior elements, a power tailgate, sunroof, LED lighting in the cabin, ventilated front seats, and a Harman Kardon eight-speaker stereo system.
