During her visit to a university in northern England, Middleton explored athletic programs and inclusivity opportunities. The Kensington Royal account shared on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, “Celebrating the power of inclusivity within Rugby League. Great to learn more about @hullfcofficial’s Centre of Excellence at @UniOfHull, which provides students with a combination of coaching and education to help them progress into professional sport.”
A video shared by the official team’s X account showcased Middleton’s impressive skills in hitting the ball. Hull FC commented, “Nailed it, your royal highness.”
Middleton’s competitive nature has been a topic of discussion, as revealed during her appearance on the podcast “The Good, The Bad, & The Rugby” with her husband Prince William, Princess Anne, and cousin Mike Tindall. Tindall sarcastically remarked that Middleton is not competitive at all, to which she responded, “I’ve seen her play beer pong!” Prince William added that their games often become a mental challenge between them.
Earlier this year, Middleton and Prince William participated in a spin class together in South Wales. Middleton emerged as the winner, earning a gold trophy. She has always been actively involved in sports and has even trained Wimbledon’s ball girls and boys alongside tennis legend Roger Federer.
